New appointment: Simple Design Works continues its expansion with Giles joining the team as our new Non-Executive Director for electronics and software development.
We’re thrilled to welcome Giles Hemmings as our new Non-Executive Director – Electronics and Software Development. With 30 years of turning bold ideas into rock-solid products, Giles will guide our team in crafting smarter and more scalable electronic and connected solutions for our clients.
Giles is a Chartered Engineer with substantial experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across international projects.
His track record ranges from satellite communications for mobile handsets to the world’s first fully wireless, EN 54 certified fire-alarm system. All delivered with the eye for detail that you’d expect from an established programme manager.
His experience will strengthen our full-stack development of software, firmware, bespoke electronics and IoT (Internet of Things) remote sensing solutions, with cloud-based dashboards and remote configuration capabilities.
