At a pivotal moment as a senior engineer of a British manufacturing business, Kristo left his employer to set up his own company that we now know as Simple Design Works. Looking back it may sound like a moment of madness but actually came with complete clarity.
Designing meaningful products is Kristo’s vocation and the first project that he took on was for Nissan to redesign the production tooling for the paint shop of the ‘Infinity’ range. The project was so successful, Nissan later rolled out the solution across the whole production line. The customer base steadily expanded and Kristo took on his first employee – a CAD technician – to help speed up projects and fully concentrate on company growth.
Now eight years on, Simple Design Works has secured an enviable reputation for designing successful products for some (pretty amazing) companies and entrepreneurs. We work with specialist partners to offer a complete design, protection and launch service and our team… What can we say about our fabulous team? They’ve been instrumental to our growth and are cemented in our future. We’re now spread out all over the Midlands but we managed a mini celebration with some of the team to acknowledge how far we’ve come. Thank you to everyone who has supported us on our journey so far. We’re super excited about what the next eight years will bring!

Hereford Herd, a new group for the creativity community launches in The Yard. Founded by Simple Design Works and The Seed Group, it’s a social space for creatives to get support, mentoring and collaboration…or just hang out and chew the cud!
We joined the Campaign for Real Innovation (C4RI) as it premiered in London and Leeds. Working with innovations experts from the world’s leading FMCG brands, the campaign’s mission is to demystify innovation, and learn and share in equal measure.
